IT’S ABOUT TIME SENIOR THESIS
It’s about time for a new intuitive and visually appealing calendar app! As a visual planner who uses calendar apps daily, I find the limited selection of colors and functions of calendar apps that already exist to be frustrating. These limitations inspired me to design my own using Adobe XD for my senior thesis. This app primarily focuses on color categorization of events with each day color-coded based on the assigned category. This allows users to easily differentiate between various events at a glance simply by seeing the color gradient corresponding to the event on each day. Tapping on a particular day will take the user to the daily view, which displays all events scheduled for that day in a list format, accompanied by its assigned category color. The design of the app is modern and minimalistic, with a focus on ergonomic functionality. The use of white space and bold typography makes the interface easy to read, and the color-coded categories provide a visual hierarchy that aids in organizing events.
