CAT TAROT CARDS
This personal project is a unique twist on the traditional major arcana tarot deck, combining traditional tarot symbolism with playful and whimsical cat illustrations. The deck features illustrations of a variety of cat breeds, each shown in various poses and settings to capture the essence of the corresponding tarot card. Inspired by my friend’s appreciation for astrology and cats, my goal for this design was to make tarot accessible and appealing to a wider audience. The playful cat imagery is intended to help readers connect with the cards in a more light-hearted and approachable way, while the use of traditional symbolism ensures that the cards still hold the same weight and meaning as the original tarot.
